Project engineer on various storm water management projects. The projects included end of pipe facility designs such as wet ponds, infiltration basis and trenches. Flow rates and storage volumes were calculated using computer modeling including MIDUSS, Visual Otthymo and desktop calculations.
- Attainable Solutions Garden Centre: Prepared a final storm water management design brief for the proposed garden centre. The design included utilizing the existing ponds and lot level conveyance controls for quantity control.
- Tulloch Engineering Huntsville office: Prepared a final storm water management design brief for the proposed office using low impact lot level conveyance controls.
- Michael’s Development: Prepared a preliminary storm water management report for the proposed Michael’s development in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
- Van Dyke Natural Stone Supplies: Prepared a final storm water management design brief for the proposed quarry expansion. The quarry was located on Highway 60 and as such required approval from the Ministry of Transportation Ontario
- Bala and Port Carling Fire Stations: Prepared a final storm water management design brief for the proposed fire stations. The SWM design utilized parking lot storage and lot level conveyance controls for quantity control.
- Port Cunnington Lodge Resort: Prepared a final storm water management design brief for the proposed site plan alteration. The SWM design utilized lot level conveyance controls for the 5 unit expansion.
- Peterborough Housing Corporation: Prepared a storm water management plan for a public housing project in Lakefield Ontario. The storm water management facilities were located within the flood plain making the approval process much more difficult.
- Beaver Ridge Estates: Prepared a storm water management design brief for a 34 unit trailer park extension. The SWM design utilized lot level conveyance controls for trailer park extension.
- Cutters Quest Subdivision: Prepared a preliminary and final storm water management plan for a 7.5 ha, 31 lot subdivision. The sites water table was at grade creating a unique grading and SWM plan. The SWM plan utilized a wet pond for treatment.
- Holiday Inn, Staybridge Inn and the North Bay Chamber of Commerce Site Development: Prepared a final storm water management plan for the both hotels and the Chamber of Commerce Site. The SWM plan utilized parking lot and rear yard storage for quantity control.
- Inveraray Highlands Subdivision: Prepared a preliminary storm water management plan for a 340 lot subdivision.
- Muskoka Highlands Subdivision: Prepared a final storm water management plan for the 35 Lot (16 ha) subdivision.
