MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Project Engineer responsible for preliminary design, detail design and approvals on various municipal projects.
 

• Haileybury Land Registry Roof Water Study: Detailed review of the existing roof drainage, site drainage and site servicing complete with remediation recommendations.
  
• Haileybury Courthouse Water Service Replacement: Design and construction of a water service.  The project was an emergency service and as such was installed in -28 C weather.
  
• Forest St. Reconstruction: Project Engineer for the design and reconstruction of 800m of roadways with storm sewer, drainage and sanitary sewer infrastructure upgrades.
  
• Belisle, Springer and Desgroseilliers Street Improvements: Design and construction of 200 m of watermain, 200 m of sanitary sewer, miscellaneous storm sewer improvements and 0.5 km of road reconstruction in the Town of Sturgeon Falls.  The project also included isolated water main repairs and improvements. 
  
• Hwy 64 Connection Link Phase 1, 2 & 3: Design and construction of 1.3 km of sanitary and storm sewer improvements in the Town of Sturgeon Falls.  The project also included isolated water main repairs and improvements. 
  
• Holditch Street Reconstruction: Design and construction of 0.45 km of watermain, sanitary and storm sewer improvements in the Town of Sturgeon Falls. 
  
• Quesnel Road Watermain Construction: Design and construction of 2.6 km watermain, in the Town of Sturgeon Falls. 
  
• Hwy 108 Gravity Sewer Improvements and Pearson Street Watermain Improvements: Design and Construction of approximately 1200 m of gravity sewer, 525 m of sanitary forcemain, a sewage pump station and 1050 m of watermain upgrades.  The project included the installation of a gravity sewer though a wetland.
  
• Taylor Road Siphon: Prepared a preliminary design report for the North Muskoka River twin depressed sanitary sewer crossing.  Alternatives included directional drilling, conventional installation and laying the depressed sewers on the river bottom. 
  
• Peterborough Housing Corporation: Prepared the site servicing and grading plans for a public housing project in Lakefield Ontario. Construction within an active flood plain was required to complete the site servicing and grading plans.
  
• Bala and Port Carling Fire Stations: Prepared a site serving and grading plans for both fire stations. 
  
• Prepared a pre-design report for the Village of Carmacks Water System Upgrade
  
• Carcross and Burwash Landing Sewage Lagoons: Completed design calculations, prepared quantities and assembled the specifications on these multi-cell lagoon projects.
